For anyone who may think Aimee didn’t get the super competative Reeder trait be warned because she took first in her age group and 12th overall in her gender during the TriUtah Buffalo Duathlon. I’m way proud of her and her accomplishments in her new found talent of triathlon. She dominated and took first by 13 minutes better than second place and 15 minutes better than third. Just in case you wondered, Jackson figured out pretty quick that Easter is his one chance to eat candy all day long. Dang that sugar!

As you can see Jackson loves Sasha and she actually has grown quite fond of Jackson. Sasha is typically the first word out of Jackson’s mouth each morning as we get him out of bed, that is, after he has yelled “Aimee!” for the 5 minutes between the time he wakes up and when someone goes into his room to get him out of bed. Sasha is not very fond of little kids but she will spend all day down in the basement with Aimee and Jackson and even allows Jackson to pet her and believe it or not, Jackson has learned how to pet Sash and not pull her hair. It will be a sad day when Jackson has to leave his beloved Sasha here with his Grandma and Grandpa Smith. Hopefully his stuffed puppy that he sleeps with can feel the void until we can get our own “Sash.”
